Holiday Hustle 5K & 10K, Livermore
This is an evening map based team event held on Saturday, December 12, 2026, in Livermore, California. The gathering point is May Nissen Park, picnic area by the library building at 725 Rincon Ave. GPS coordinates are 37.686627, -121.784991.
Participants form teams of one to five people. Course options include:
- 5 km map based course, about 20 checkpoints
- 10 km map based course, about 36 checkpoints
Checkpoints are shown as circles on the map. Teams navigate to the house at the center of each circle and answer a simple multiple choice question about a holiday display at that location. The route goes through decorated neighborhood streets. The event starts as darkness is settling in so headlamps or flashlights are useful. After finishing the course, participants can enjoy snacks, drinks, and socializing at the finish area.
Age and gender divisions are offered: Women, Men, Mixed; Junior, Open, Masters (average age 40 plus), and Family (juniors and adults). The event runs rain or shine and closed toe shoes are recommended. Registration is available in advance and on race day; there is a full refund policy for cancellations.
