Holiday Hustle 5K & 10K - Livermore
Holiday Hustle is an evening, team-based mapped course event in Livermore that sends participants through decorated neighborhoods to locate holiday displays and answer multiple-choice questions at checkpoints. The event takes place at May Nissen Park, Picnic Area by the Library building, 725 Rincon Ave., Livermore, CA 94551 (GPS 37.686627, -121.784991). The start is scheduled around dusk, so headlamps or flashlights are helpful.
Distances:
- 5K : about 20 checkpoints.
- 10K : about 36 checkpoints.
Teams may be 1 to 5 people. Gender divisions are Women, Men, and Mixed; age divisions include Junior, Open, Masters (average age 40+), and Family (juniors and adults). To complete the course, teams locate the house at the center of each mapped circle and answer a simple multiple-choice question such as "Who is dressed as Santa on the roof?" Team answers are submitted together under the team name at the finish.
Registration is available online and on the day of the event. Refunds are full for cancellations for any reason. Entry fees vary by date and category; earlier registration has lower per-person rates for both 5K and 10K, with reduced student and junior prices.
