Shallowater Stampede
The Shallowater Stampede is the 38th annual running event held on September 12, 2026, at Shallowater High School on FM1294 in Shallowater, Texas. The event comprises two distances and is organized by the West Texas Running Club.
The race offers the following distances:
- 2M (Run/Walk)
- 10K Run
Entry fees are listed as $8 for WTRC members and non-member children ages 7 to 12, and $20 for non-members for either distance. Race day registration is limited. There are no refunds for entry fees.
Age requirements are specified as 7 and older for the 2M Run/Walk and 13 and older for the 10K Run. Strollers are permitted only for participants aged 18 and older in both races. Pets are not allowed on the course.
T-shirts are not included with registration; shirts are available for purchase through Shallowater PA. A course map is provided for the event. Signups for the event begin on August 8. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
