Shallowater Stampede
The Shallowater Stampede is an annual running event held at Shallowater High School in Shallowater, TX. The 2026 edition is the 38th annual event and takes place on September 12, 2026.
The event offers two distance options:
- 2M (Run/Walk)
- 10K Run
Age and equipment rules are specified: participants must be at least 7 years old for the 2M and 13 years old for the 10K; participants using strollers must be 18 or older. No pets are allowed on the course.
Entry fees are listed as $8 for WTRC members and non-member children ages 7 to 12, and $20 for non-members for both distances. Race day registration is limited and there are no refunds. No official race shirt is provided; shirts are available for sale from Shallowater PA.
