Shallowater Stampede
Shallowater Stampede is an annual road running event in Shallowater, Texas, held since 1988. The 38th edition is scheduled for September 12, 2026. The event offers two course options:
- 2M Run/Walk
- 10K Run
The venue is Shallowater High School on FM1294 in Shallowater, TX. Bib pickup is available on race day. Race day registration is limited and the event policy states there are no refunds. Pets are not allowed on the course.
Entry fees are published by the organizer and include a reduced fee of $8 for club members and nonmember children ages 7 to 12, and a $20 fee for nonmembers for both distances. Age minimums are specified for each distance: participants must be at least 7 years old for the 2 mile run/walk and at least 13 years old for the 10K. Strollers are permitted only for participants aged 18 and older in both events.
No participant T shirt is included with entry, though shirts are available for purchase locally. The event maintains age group course records for both the 10K and the 2 mile and publishes past results and race media from previous years. Registration opens August 8.
