Event details
The Llano Estacado Wine Run 5k takes place on April 11, 2026, at Llano Estacado Winery in Lubbock, TX (3426 FM 1585, 79404). The event includes a 5k run/walk and is open to a wide age range. The race is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online at J3Timing.com. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be picked up in person or shipped for a handling charge.
Course and logistics
The course starts and finishes at the winery. It is mostly cross-country style on grass, with many turns through the vineyards, and is described as flat and suitable for runners and walkers. Dogs are not allowed. Strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground. Packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the event from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the winery; race-day pickup is also available starting one hour before the event.
Registration and awards
Registration includes a ring-spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal (which also serves as a wine stopper), and a chip-timed race bib. Age group awards are given in ten-year categories, with custom awards for the top three finishers in each male and female category.
