Shadow Strike Unsanctioned Run - Chino Hills
The Shadow Strike Unsanctioned Run is an unconventional racing event located in Chino Hills, Southern California. This series departs from traditional race formats by operating without a set route or traffic control. The event takes place on an open course that includes streets, footpaths, intersections, and natural terrain.
The race covers a distance of approximately 4+ miles and features a mix of gravel and trail surfaces. Participants are responsible for their own navigation, as there are no mile markers or official clocks on the course. To complete the event, runners must reach four designated checkpoints before heading to the final finish location. Race instructions and specific details regarding the checkpoints are provided to participants 15 minutes before the start of the event.
Strategy and route selection are central to the competition. The event is supported by Altra, highlighting trail-ready footwear for the varied terrain. Following the run, a gathering is held for all participants.
