A Snail's Pace x Adidas Sunset 5000
A Snail's Pace x Adidas Sunset 5000 is a multi-day running event held in Santa Ana at Saddleback High School from June 13 to June 27, 2026. The event combines music, food and a timed track format under the lights.
The main race is 5K (3.1 miles) run as 12 and a half laps on the track. Runners are assigned to one of eight seeded heats based on their expected 5K time. The event enforces a maximum cutoff time of 35 minutes for the 5K.
All participants receive a post-race meal ticket for the food truck partner Birreria y Tacos Doña Betty. Finishers receive a commemorative race medal, and winners of each heat receive a special prize. Adidas will provide spikes and super shoes for participants to demo during the race.
Heats are selected from submitted expected finish times and will be announced closer to the event. Participants are asked to estimate times that reflect their current fitness; winning a heat by two minutes or more makes a runner ineligible for prizes. The race director reserves the right to review and revoke winning times. Space for the event is limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
