A Snail's Pace X Adidas Sunset 5000
A Snail's Pace X Adidas Sunset 5000 takes place on June 13, 2026 at Saddleback High School, 2802 South Flower Street, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States. The event is a track 5K listed as 3.1 miles, run as 12 and a half laps of the track.
Racing is organized into eight seeded heats based on each runner's expected 5K time. There is a maximum cutoff time of 35 minutes. Heats will be announced closer to race day; once heats are set the organizer cannot move a participant to a different heat. Runners are required to check in with the clerk of the course no later than 45 minutes before their assigned heat. If a runner misses their call time they cannot be placed in a later heat.
All participants receive a post race meal ticket for the food truck Birreria y Tacos Doña Betty. Finishers receive a commemorative race medal. Winners of each heat receive a special prize, though prizes are subject to eligibility rules, including ineligibility if the heat is won by 2 minutes or more. Adidas will offer spikes and super shoes for participants to demo during the race. Space is limited. The race director reserves the right to review and revoke winning times.
