Event overview
The 71st Annual Fontana Days Run is set for June 6, 2026 in Fontana, CA. The main event is a 13.1 mile Half Marathon that starts in the San Bernardino National Forest at about 3,800 feet elevation and descends nearly 2,500 feet to the finish in front of Fontana City Hall. The Half Marathon course has been recognized by USATF as the "World's Fastest Half Marathon Course" since 1985.

All participants in the Half Marathon, 5K Run and 5K Race Walk must be at least 11 years old on race day. The 5K Family Fitness Walk is open to all ages. Children's Dash participants must be between 5 and 11 years old on race day. Team registration is allowed for the Half Marathon and 5K Run only; teams must have 4 to 20 members and all teammates must register in the same race category.
Logistics and awards
All participants, except those in the Children's Dash, must travel by bus from Fontana City Hall to the starting lines. Race packets are distributed in front of Fontana City Hall; participants may pick up packets for others with proper approval and verification. Parking is available at City Hall, the Lewis Library parking structure, on Spring St., and a parking structure at Sierra Ave. and Arrow Blvd. Finisher medals are given to all who cross the finish line. Place medals go to the top three finishers in each age division for the Half Marathon, 5K Run, 5K Race Walk and Children's Dash; there are no place awards for the Family Fitness Walk.
