71st Annual Fontana Days Run

The 71st Annual Fontana Days Run takes place in Fontana, CA on June 6, 2026. The event program includes a range of distances to accommodate different participants and families, and the finish area at Fontana City Hall features local vendors, exhibitors, entertainment, and food.

• 5K Run
• 5K Family Fitness Walk
• Children's Half Mile Dash

The Half Marathon starts in the San Bernardino National Forest at an elevation near 3,800 feet and descends nearly 2,125 feet to the finish in front of Fontana City Hall. The race is recognized by USATF as the World's Fastest Half Marathon Course since 1985. All participants except those in the Children's Dash are required to travel to their start lines by bus from Fontana City Hall.

Packet pickup is handled in front of Fontana City Hall on the day before the race and on race morning; participants may pick up packets for other registered runners with proper verification. Parking options include City Hall parking, the Lewis Library parking structure, street parking along Spring Street, and a new parking structure at Sierra Avenue and Arrow Boulevard. Road closures will affect Lytle Creek Road, Sierra Avenue and parts of the nearby freeways during the event.

Finisher medals are awarded to all who cross the finish line. Place medals and prize money are awarded in the Half Marathon and 5K categories, and place medals are given by age division for the listed races and the Children's Dash. Team registration is available for the Half Marathon and the 5K Run with a minimum of four and a maximum of twenty members per team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
