Sgt. Dennis Vaccaro Memorial 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run and walk held at the West Long Branch Community Center in West Long Branch, New Jersey. The course is described as mostly flat and loops around Franklin Lake and through nearby residential streets. The finish area is located behind the community center, and parking is available at the back entrance of Shore Regional High School for a short walk to the venue.

Amenities listed include live text and email results, free finish line photos, personalized bibs for registrations made at least three weeks in advance, post-run refreshments, and t-shirts for pre-registered participants. A raffle for a grand prize is restricted to those 21 and older. A local food bank will be present to collect nonperishable donations.
Awards are planned for top overall finishers and for top finishers in multiple age groups, plus recognition for the largest registered group. Early T-shirt and bib pickup and day-of bib pickup are provided, and virtual participant kits are shipped. Proceeds benefit The Dennis A.
