Sgt. Dennis Vaccaro Memorial 5K Run/Walk
The event is a memorial 5K run and walk held at the West Long Branch Community Center in West Long Branch, New Jersey. The venue address is 116 Locust Ave and parking is available at the back entrance of Shore Regional High School with a short walk to the community center.

Amenities include live, text, and email results, free finish line photos, personalized bibs for those registered at least three weeks in advance, raffle for a grand prize for participants aged 21 and older, post-run refreshments, and T-shirts for pre-registered participants. A local Food Bank will attend to collect nonperishable items and donations. Virtual participants receive shipped materials, with shipping occurring within a window around the event date.
Awards are presented to the top three overall men and women, first place men and women in multiple age groups, and the largest group entry. Bib pickup is available in advance at the community center and on the day of the event; bib numbers are provided by text or email prior to pickup. The course is described as mostly flat, circling Franklin Lake and running through the West Long Branch neighborhood, with the start at the front of the community center and the finish behind it.
