Sewanee Slammer

The Sewanee Slammer is a 20 mile loop run on the Perimeter Trail around the University of the South on the Cumberland Plateau in Sewanee, Tennessee. The course goes clockwise from the Mountain Goat Visitor Center in Sewanee Village and passes overlooks, geologic features, lakes and ponds, and upland deciduous forest. There are three aid stations located at miles 5.3, 10.5, and 14.06 along the route. Ten percent of race proceeds will be directed to the Perimeter Trail Fund. A trail map for the area is provided as part of event materials.

Race shirts are cotton blend unisex tees and are guaranteed for participants who register by September 27. Registration pricing is structured as follows: $75 through September 15 and $85 after September 15, both amounts before taxes and fees.

A post race gathering at Shenanigans - Sewanee will offer food and brews and include a viewing of part of the Bama UT game. Event partners include HOKA, Feetures, and Huma, and vendor swag will be awarded to winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
