Seven Sisters Half Marathon
The Seven Sisters Half Marathon is a single loop trail race through the South Downs National Park that starts and finishes in Helen Garden, Eastbourne (BN20 7XL). The route follows the South Downs Way, passes through Friston Forest and woodland trails, goes toward the Seven Sisters and crosses Beachy Head before returning to Eastbourne.
The course distance is 13.5 MILES with about 2,000 feet of ascent and descent. Terrain is mostly trail (listed as 99% trail and 1% tarmac), combining grass trails, a few farm tracks and forest paths. The route is way marked and uses live chip timing. One fully stocked aid station is provided on course.
Entries are offered on a first come, first served basis with no qualification required; no waitlist is in operation. Entries close one week before the race or when entry limits are reached. The listed entry fee is £44.00.

Refund and deferral policy: a 50% refund is available up to March 2nd 2026; after that date refunds are not given except for pregnancy, in which case a full refund is available if notified before the race. Places can be deferred to 2027 or transferred to another runner subject to the event rules and deadlines. Included for finishers are a bespoke medal, downloadable photos, trophies for winners in categories, event insurance and first aid cover.
