About the race
Seven Sisters Half Marathon is a scenic, single-loop trail race through the South Downs National Park, starting and finishing at Helen Garden in Eastbourne. Runners follow the South Downs Way from Eastbourne to Friston Forest, traverse woodland trails, pass the Seven Sisters, and return over Beachy Head. The 13.5-mile course features about 2,000 feet of ascent and descent, with a 99% trail and 1% tarmac surface, making it runnable yet hilly.
It suits first-time trail runners and those preparing for longer events. Highlights include a fully signed and way-marked route, live chip timing, a bespoke finisher medal, race photos, and strong event support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
