Seven Sisters Half Marathon : South Downs National Park
The Seven Sisters Half Marathon follows a single-loop trail route that runs from and back to Helen Gardens in Eastbourne, BN20 7XL. The course uses sections of the South Downs Way, passes through Friston Forest and woodland trails, and travels toward the Seven Sisters and over Beachy Head. The route covers 13.5 miles with about 2,000 feet of ascent and descent. Terrain is predominantly trail (99%) with a small amount of tarmac.
Race services include live chip timing, one fully stocked aid station, downloadable race photos, a bespoke finisher medal, winner trophies, event insurance, first aid and medical cover, and a free shuttle bus from the finish area to local hotels and Eastbourne train station. Permits are granted through ARC; permit number was pending.
Entries are on a first come, first served basis with no qualification required. Entries close one week before the race or when entry limits are reached; there is no waitlist. The published entry fee is £44 and instalment payments are available. Refund and change policies state a 50% refund is available up to March 2, 2026; after that date refunds are not given except for pregnancy, in which case a full refund is available.
