Settle Saunter
The Settle Saunter is an annual walking and running event held in the Yorkshire Dales, starting and finishing at Victoria Hall in Settle. Organized by the Rotary Club of Settle with local community support, it offers three flagged routes suitable for various fitness levels: a 10k (6.2 miles), a half marathon (13 miles), and a 23-mile course. The longer routes pass through scenic villages like Feizor, Austwick, and Clapham, as well as natural landmarks including Oxenber Woods and Stainforth Force.
The event welcomes walkers and runners, allows dogs on leads, and uses SPORTident chip timing. It raises funds for charities and features a friendly, community atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
