Website

The King’s Challenge is a 6-mile fell running race held in Silsden, West Yorkshire, organized by Wharfedale Harriers. The course features a 1,175 ft ascent, starting from the bottom rugby pitch in the park behind the Kings Arms and finishing under the bandstand opposite the pub. Runners ascend through Swartha and Silsden Nab End, then traverse the moor to the trig point at Long Ridge End before returning by the same route.

There is a 40-minute cutoff at the top of the Nab. The event is for seniors over 16, with a £5 entry fee, and offers a challenging yet scenic route combining parkland and moorland terrain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
