Set Free Movement Freedom Run/Walk 2026
The Set Free Movement Freedom Run/Walk is a community 5K event in Turlock, California held on September 26, 2026 at Compass Point Church, 2006 E Tuolumne Rd. The event is the 11th annual edition and raises awareness about human trafficking while generating funds for Set Free Movement and its Fostering Hope ministry. Fostering Hope supports youth in foster care and the people who work with them.
The event is organized as a fun run so anyone may participate; past participants have included people of different ages and fitness levels who run, jog, or walk. The route is flat and follows roads through neighborhoods and a trail next to a canal, using E Tuolumne, Daubenberger, Canal, and Johnson Rd. Parking is available in the church parking lot and along neighborhood streets.
The run is part of a larger Freedom Festival that features pop-ups, food, a raffle, a kids area, and other booths. Registered participants receive a drawstring bag, a t-shirt, and other goodies while supplies last; shirts are guaranteed for registrations by September 1. Awards are given to the overall fastest male and female and to the fastest male and female in each age category. Free water and healthy snacks will be available near the finish area, and additional food and drinks will be available for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
