Set Free Movement Freedom Run/Walk : Turlock, CA
The Set Free Movement Freedom Run/Walk is a community 5K event held on September 26, 2026 at Compass Point Church, 2006 E Tuolumne Rd, Turlock, CA 95382. The event is the 11th annual edition and raises awareness about human trafficking while generating funds for Set Free Movement and a local Fostering Hope ministry that supports people in foster care and those who work with them.
The event is organized as a fun run and walk. People of different ages and fitness levels have participated; some run, some jog, some walk. The course is flat and follows roads through residential neighborhoods and a trail beside a canal. The route uses E Tuolumne, Daubenberger, Canal, and Johnson Road in Turlock.
All registered participants receive a drawstring bag, a t-shirt, and additional items while supplies last. Shirts are guaranteed for those who register by September 1. Early bird registration pricing is available on September 13. Registered participants are eligible for awards for the overall fastest male and female and for the fastest male and female in each age category.
The run takes place as part of a broader Freedom Festival that includes pop-up vendors, food, a raffle, a kids area, and booths. Parking is available in the church lot and along neighborhood streets. After the event there will be free water and healthy snacks near the finish line, with additional food and drinks available for purchase.
