The Serenata Shuffle
The Serenata Shuffle is a music-oriented fundraiser event held in Boise along the Greenbelt. The event supports the Serenata Orchestra, a non-profit community organization that provides free concerts to the Treasure Valley. The course begins and ends at Veterans Memorial Park and features live performances by orchestra musicians at various points along the route.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- Serenata Shuffle 5K - A timed 5-kilometer race.
- Bach Walk 1M - A 1-mile fun run and walk.
- Virtual Serenata Shuffle 5K - A remote participation option.
Registrants for the in-person events receive an event t-shirt and a commemorative medallion. The course Includes an interactive element where participants can chase the "Maestro" for a chance to win raffle prizes. Group registration is available, with a discount applied for groups of three or more people.
Packet pick-up takes place on the two days preceding the event at Fleet Feet locations in Nampa and Meridian. The event is designed for runners, walkers, and families, with no specific qualification requirements for entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
