SendMeMissions 5K Run/Walk : May 1, 2026, Wauchula, FL
The 15th annual SendMeMissions event takes place on May 1, 2026 in Wauchula, Florida. The event includes a 5K, a 1 Mile Fun Run, a Kids 1/2 Dash (ages 12 and under), a Virtual Race, and a Race Supporter option for receiving a race shirt without running. The 5K course goes through Historic Downtown Wauchula. The finish line and awards ceremony are at Heritage Park on Main Street. The 1 Mile Fun Run and Kids 1/2 Dash loop around downtown and finish on Main Street.
Registration, logistics, and awards
Entry fees vary by registration period. Early bird 5K registration is listed at $20 with a guaranteed T-shirt; later registration tiers increase and T-shirts may not be guaranteed. Kids and virtual race fees have separate tiered prices. Packet pick up is available Wednesday, April 29 (10:00 am to 6:00 pm) at 215 W Orange Street, Wauchula; packets can be mailed for an additional $7. Virtual participants may run or walk anywhere and can submit times online between April 24 and May 1. Team registration requires the team captain to register first; team awards are listed for largest team and fastest team based on aggregate time of the first five finishers. Headphones and baby strollers are permitted on the course; pets are not allowed. The 5K has multiple awards categories by overall and age groups; the Kids 1/2 Dash, 1 Mile Fun Run, and Virtual Race participants receive a key chain medal.
