Selsey Triathlon : Seal Bay Resort, Selsey
The Selsey Triathlon takes place on 04-Oct-2026 at Seal Bay Resort, Windmill Beach, PO20 9EL. The event uses the resort facilities and includes access to a private beach, an almost flat bike route and a closed-road run route around the resort. An Australian exit is used after the first swim loop to allow supporters to see competitors leaving the water.
Two senior race distances are offered:
- Super Sprint: 400 m swim | 10 km bike | 2.5 km run
- Sprint: 750 m swim | 25 km bike | 5 km run
Wetsuits are mandatory, either shortie or full body. Junior events are scheduled on the Saturday before the senior races. Competitors receive a medal on completion. Prizes are awarded to the top three in each age category for both Open and Female categories in Sprint and Super Sprint events. Age groups include Open (17-39), Vet (40-49), Super Vet (50-59), Vintage (60-69) and Super Vintage (70+).
Accommodation at Seal Bay Resort includes caravans, lodges and houses, and entrants can receive an accommodation discount and booking code for up to 10 percent off.
