20th Annual Seedorf / McMeekin 5k Run
The Atlantic City Fire Fighters Local 198 will host a memorial 5K on the Atlantic City Boardwalk beginning and ending in front of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Pennsylvania Avenue. The course is an out and back route running south toward Ventnor with a turnaround at Montpelier Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Registration opens February 2, 2026 and closes August 28, 2026. The preregistration fee is $40.00 and the race day fee is $50.00. Race day registration will be held under a tent on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Event t shirts will be provided to the first 100 preregistered entrants in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL.
Registered participants will receive complimentary food and discounted drinks. The event menu includes fruit cocktail, breakfast English muffins with egg ham and white American cheese, fried white corn tortillas with fire roasted salsa, and crispy chicken wings with ranch and BBQ dipping sauces. A DJ will provide music for a small after party. Spine One Chiropractic will offer athlete stretching and giveaways. An awards ceremony will be held at The Terrace at Hard Rock following the race with awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and first place male and female age group medals for 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70 and over.
