Sedbergh Fell Race : Saturday 16 May 2026
The event is held at The Showfield, Back Lane, Sedbergh LA10 5AQ, on the A684 about 6 miles east of M6 junction 37. The course climbs to the summit of Winder before descending back to the showfield. Due to a change of landowner the route no longer runs through the field at the start; it now continues up the track and follows the beck. Dogs are not allowed in the start field because these are school playing fields.
The senior race is included as a BOFRA Championship counter and the event holds a permit with associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. Entry on the day is available; there is no pre-entry. Teams are not allowed. The senior minimum age is 17. Junior races are organised with separate short courses and lower climbs.

- Senior race: 3.5 km / 2.2 miles, about 340 m climb
- U9: 1.00 km, 40 m climb
- U12: 2.00 km, 100 m climb
- U14: 2.60 km, 140 m climb
- U17: 3.10 km, 230 m climb
