South Cheshire Secret 20
The South Cheshire Secret 20 is a road running event held in the Crewe area of Cheshire. The event features two distinct distance options on the same day:
- 20 miles
- Half Marathon
The 20 mile course begins at Mickley Hall and consists of three loops through country lanes. The route is characterized by its flat profile, with less than 300 feet of total elevation gain across the entire distance. This event is frequently used by participants as part of preparation for spring marathons, typically scheduled five weeks before the Manchester Marathon and six weeks before the London Marathon.
The finish line is located at the Event Village at the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker. Participants receive a medal and a goody bag upon completion. The Event Village provides various amenities and attractions, including entertainment, a bar, and a bouncy castle. Additionally, those attending the event can access discounted entry to the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker and its on-site café.
The race takes place on roads that remain open to traffic during the event. Due to this, the use of headphones is not recommended for participants. Race numbers are provided via collection. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
