Seawolf Shuffle 5K Run/Walk 2027
The Seawolf Shuffle is scheduled for April 18, 2027 at Stony Brook University, 100 Nicolls Rd., Stony Brook, NY. The event is organized by Healthier U as the second annual campus 5K and is open to Stony Brook University faculty, staff, students, alumni and their families. Registration is not yet open; notifications will be issued when registration becomes available.
The race follows a 3.1 mile course that starts and finishes at the Stony Brook Union Patio. The route proceeds east on John S. Toll Drive, continues onto Circle Road including the roundabout section on the sidewalk, and returns to John S. Toll Drive to finish at the Union Patio. All participants are asked to stay on the sidewalks.
Event amenities include medals for the first 300 finishers, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks in advance. Awards include top overall placements for male, female, and nonbinary categories, and prizes for youth participants.
The event is free for members of the Stony Brook University community. Donations to the Hardship Fund are welcome; the Hardship Fund assists eligible faculty and staff experiencing a personal financial emergency. Bib pickup is handled by event staff before the event; a self lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number.
