Seawolf Shuffle 5K Run/Walk
The Seawolf Shuffle is a campus 5K run/walk with an accompanying kids fun run hosted at Stony Brook University, 100 Nicolls Rd., Stony Brook NY. The event is open to faculty, staff, students, alumni, and their families and is free for Stony Brook University community members. Registration is not yet open; the organizer offers a notification option for when registration opens.

Event amenities include medals for the first 300 finishers, live text and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrations completed at least three weeks in advance. Awards are given to the top overall finishers in M/F/X divisions, and prizes are provided for youth participants.
Bibs are distributed by event staff before the race. A self-lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number. Registrants who sign up within 24 hours of bib pickup can receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds or via the bib lookup tool.
Course information lists the Stony Brook Union Patio as the start and the end of John S. Toll Drive at the Stony Brook Union Patio as the finish. The route follows John S. Toll Drive east, loops on Circle Road, and returns on John S. Toll Drive. All participants are asked to stay on sidewalks.
The event supports the Hardship Fund, a program that assists eligible faculty and staff facing personal financial emergencies after other avenues of assistance have been exhausted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
