Seawolf Shuffle 5K Run/Walk
The Seawolf Shuffle is a campus running event organized by Healthier U and presented for the Stony Brook University community and their families. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the event date. The event has previously included both a 5K and a kids fun run.

Amenities include medals for the first 300 finishers, live results delivered by text and email, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrations completed at least three weeks in advance. Awards list the top one male, female, and nonbinary overall finishers and prizes for youth participants.
The Seawolf Shuffle is free to Stony Brook University faculty, staff, students, alumni and their families. Donations to the Hardship Fund are welcome; the fund assists eligible faculty and staff who are experiencing a personal financial emergency and who have exhausted other avenues for assistance.
Bibs are available from event staff beginning one hour before the event. Participants must know their bib number to pick it up; a self lookup area is available for those who do not know their number. Registrations completed within 24 hours of bib pickup may receive a texted bib number shortly after registration.
The 5K course starts at the Stony Brook Union Patio, follows John S. Toll Drive east, turns right onto Circle Road and follows the sidewalk through the roundabout back to John S. Toll Drive, then returns to the Stony Brook Union Patio. All participants are to stay on sidewalks. Total distance is 3.1 miles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
