2027 Seattle Marathon Summer Events
The event takes place June 12, 2027 at Seward Park, 5900 Lake Washington Boulevard South in Seattle. The course passes near Lake Washington and offers views toward Mt Rainier. Dogs are welcome.
Available distances:
- Half Marathon 21.1 kilometers (13.1 miles)
- 10K 10 kilometers (6.2 miles)
- 5K 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)
- Kids Fun Run 1 kilometer (0.6 miles)
USATF certification codes are provided for the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon courses. The Kids Fun Run is uncertified. Virtual entry options are available for several distances.
Early packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the event at West Seattle Runner and at Super Jock N Jill Green Lake, with event-day packet pickup at Seward Park.
All participants receive a race shirt, bib, medal and finish-line refreshments. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall men, women and non-binary finishers in the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon who meet specified time standards; student athletes are not eligible for cash awards. Non-cash awards are emailed the week after the race to top age division finishers, top active military finishers and top masters finishers. Age divisions include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89 and 90 plus.
The event policy states it will take place rain or shine except for force majeure cancellations. Entry fees are non-refundable. Comped entries are available for qualifying elite athletes for in-person events only and do not cover travel or lodging. Early bird rates are offered year round for active and veteran military with proof of service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
