Entry and logistics
Entry on the day is allowed. Fees on the day are £7 for members and £10 for non-members. There is no pre-entry. Payment on the day is cash only and participants are asked to bring the correct change. Maximum number of participants is 150. Free car parking is available if the field has been cut and is dry; otherwise park legally on nearby roads and car parks.
Course and safety
The race has a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. The route uses public footpaths. Recce of the route should use Winter Seed Lane public footpath. The start and finish are partially flagged. On ascent runners must keep east of Tongue Gill to Grisedale Hause, then follow the path to the checkpoint on Seat Sandal. Flags direct the descent to the final checkpoint at NY 33782 10226.
