Event location and access

The race takes place on Farleton Knott by permission of the Dallam Tower Estate. The location is on the A6070, about 1 mile from the M6 Junction 36 and 5 miles south of Kendal (postcode LA6 1PB). Grid reference 536814. What Three Words location ///knees.blockage.slant. Car parking is charged at £3; exact change is requested.

Course and race details

The route climbs the front of the fell, crosses the top, then descends by the same ascent route and returns along the path around the bottom of the fell. The senior course was changed in 2021. The race is a BOFRA Championship counter. Distance and climb: 2.60 miles / 4.20 km, with 750 feet / 230 meters of climb. Age categories listed are Under 9, Under 12, Under 14, Under 17 and Seniors.
