BOFRA - Farleton Knott
This fell race takes place on Farleton Knott by kind permission of the Dallam Tower Estate. The senior course climbs the front of the fell, crosses the top and then descends by the previous ascent route before returning along the path around the base of the fell. The senior course was changed in 2021.
The course distance is 2.60 miles / 4.20 km with approximately 750 feet (230 metres) of climb. The event is a BOFRA Championship counter and includes age categories for Under 9, Under 12, Under 14, Under 17 and Seniors. Maps and profiles are noted but a race map and a race profile are not available on the event page.
Location details given for the event include an address on the A6070 about one mile from the M6 Junction 36 and five miles south of Kendal, with grid reference 536814 and What Three Words ///knees.blockage.slant. Car parking is provided for a fee of £3; participants are asked to bring exact change.
