The Farleton Knott fell race is scheduled for Sunday 2nd August 2026. The race is held on Farleton Knott by kind permission of the Dallam Tower Estate and is a BOFRA Championship counter. Car parking at the venue costs £3 and exact change is requested. The location is on the A6070, about 1 mile from M6 Junction 36 and 5 miles south of Kendal, postcode LA6 1PB. Course and categories
The senior course covers 2.60 miles / 4.20 km with approximately 750 feet / 230 meters of climb. The route climbs the front of the fell, crosses the top, then descends by the previous ascent route and returns along the path round the bottom of the fell. The senior course was changed in 2021. Age categories listed include Under 9, Under 12, Under 14, Under 17 and Seniors.
