Season's Greetings 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon : Long Beach
The Season's Greetings event on December 5, 2026 takes place along the Long Beach Shoreline Path in Belmont Shores at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course is an open beach path and participants should be courteous to pedestrians, runners and cyclists.
Distances offered:
- 5k out and back
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
The course is marked and uses out and back loops. An aid station at the turnaround near the start and finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups and Gu gels. There is a 3:15 time limit for the half marathon; additional time or start arrangements can be made with the organizer.
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, race photos tied to bib numbers, free videos and cinematic highlight reels, live results, trophies and achievement badges, Ascend Index ranking and an Ascend Crew feature, plus a free A Better World Running app. Snacks and samples are provided. Group discounts are applied for three or more people on Race Ascend and larger group options are available.
Race day registration accepts credit card, cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle or PayPal, with listed race day fees of 5k $35, 10k $40, 15k $45 and half marathon $50. Volunteers may earn a free race entry.
