Seaside Stride Beach Trek Walk/Run
The Seaside Stride Beach Trek Walk/Run is a community event held in Cape Canaveral, Florida. This event is organized as a beach trek rather than a competitive race, aimed at gathering outdoor enthusiasts to raise awareness for the prevention of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. The trek follows an out and back format starting and finishing at Fish Lips Waterfront Bar & Grill.
The course primarily takes place on the beach, though participants have the option to move to the sidewalk along the route. For those participating in the longer distance, the route includes specific turnaround points at the Hampton Inn and Jetty Park. Participants are responsible for bringing their own snacks and beverages to consume during the trek. Registration includes an event t-shirt, a swag bag, and access to a post-trek celebration featuring light breakfast snacks and a drink.
Available distance options include:
- 10 Mile beach trek
- 20 Mile beach trek
- 10 Mile Virtual option
- 20 Mile Virtual option
Participants are encouraged to be physically prepared and to have completed similar distances prior to the event. While the primary activity occurs on-site in Cape Canaveral, virtual versions are available for those who cannot attend in person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
