About the race
Seaside Showdown Series presents a trail race on the Sugarloaf Path in St. John's, NL, held on June 19, 2027. The course runs from Marine Lab to Quidi Vidi and the advertised distance is 9K.
The route is not a flagged course; racers are expected to know the trail. A GPX file will be provided so participants can follow the route on GPS devices. Routes are also available through the event Strava club. Volunteers will be positioned at key locations on course to help keep participants on the trail.
Race checkin is conducted at the starting line and bibs are handed out at checkin. Parking is available at both the starting line and the finish line. Registration closes on July 18 and the published entry fee is USD 29. Registration and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals, though moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration options will be offered.
The event is organized by Seaside Showdown Series and supported by ECT50 East Coast Trail Ultra Marathon, The Outfitters, Train 4 Trails, and The East Coast Trail Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
