Seaside Marathon 2027
Seaside Marathon takes place at Solimar Beach in Ventura, California, along the Ventura beachfront and Historic Old Rincon Highway. The full marathon is a mostly flat, two-loop road course that runs close to the ocean and offers measured mile markers.
The event includes these race distances:
- Marathon two-loop, mostly flat course
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The course is USATF certified (Cert #CA17064RS) and the event is listed as a Boston qualifier (Cert #CA24016TEB2026). Aid stations with water and Gatorade are placed at roughly 1.5 mile intervals. Portable toilets are available along the course and at the start area.
Walkers, strollers, and participants using a generous time limit for the full marathon are explicitly welcomed. An early-start option for full marathon runners is available; runners who choose it must notify the organizers in advance, know the course, and be prepared to self-support for the initial portion before all aid stations are in place.
Packet pickup is arranged the day before at local fitness locations, and limited race-day packet pickup is available; there is no on-site race day registration. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
