SeaMonkey Christmas in July 5K
The SeaMonkey Christmas in July event on July 25, 2026 takes place in Bradenton, Florida at GT Bray Park and includes in-person and virtual options. The in-person program features a shaded two-loop course through the park with a mix of pavement, dirt paths, and grass. The route will be marked with cones and directional signage, and the park will remain open to the public during the event.

- 5K run/walk
- 100 yards kids run
- 5K virtual run/walk
Event amenities described for in-person participants include a pre-race warm-up provided by Prosper Bradenton, a recovery zone with ice baths, massage, and yoga, and custom finisher medals. Top overall male and female finishers receive a custom championship belt and the team with the most registered athletes earns a team championship belt. Athlete T-shirts are available as an optional add-on and all proceeds from shirt sales will be donated to Pace Center for Girls. A portion of overall proceeds will also be donated to Pace Center for Girls, which provides year-round academics, counseling, case management, and life skills development for middle and high school girls.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at a local retail location and on race morning at GT Bray Park. Leashed dogs are permitted and participants with dogs are asked to start toward the back of the pack. A virtual packet will be mailed to virtual participants and virtual registration closes June 15, 2026. Race photos will be posted to social media after the event.
