Seacoast Half Marathon
The Seacoast Half Marathon is scheduled for October 25, 2026 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The race starts and finishes at Portsmouth High School and follows a course through the coastal communities of Portsmouth, Rye, and New Castle.
The course is described as fast and mostly flat with a few rolling hills. Runners pass woodlands, salt marshes, the rugged coastline, working waterways, historic homes, and Portsmouth Harbor, offering a range of coastal and town scenery.
This race is organized as a local charitable event. One hundred percent of net proceeds go to nonprofit causes; the 2026 beneficiary is Krempels Brain Injury Center. Krempels provides evidence based programming, shared experiences, and community support for people living with acquired brain injury, with a focus on respect and helping each person achieve maximum potential and satisfaction with life after injury.
The event is an annual half marathon and has a history of fundraising for area nonprofits. Participants receive a long sleeve race shirt and a medal. The event also includes a team competition with awards for the fastest and the largest teams. Volunteers are offered a Seacoast Half shirt, coffee, and other treats for their work on and off course.
