Seacoast Half Marathon
The Seacoast Half Marathon is a long-standing running event in coastal New Hampshire. The 21st annual edition takes place in Portsmouth and the surrounding coastal communities. This event operates as a charitable race, with 100% of net proceeds directed to a non-profit beneficiary. Since its inception, the race has raised nearly $2 million for local organizations. The designated beneficiary for 2026 is the Krempels Brain Injury Center.

The course begins and ends at Portsmouth High School. The route is described as mostly flat with some rolling hills. It transitions through Portsmouth, Rye, and New Castle, providing views of salt marshes, woodlands, and the rugged coastline. Participants pass by Portsmouth Harbor, historic homes, and active waterways during the race.
Participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt and a finisher's medal. Registration options include individual entry, race teams, and the opportunity to create personal fundraising pages. While the event takes place in October, registration typically opens in early March. The race is part of the Seacoast Road Race Series and is supported by local promotional sponsors such as the New England 65 Plus Running Club.
