Screaming Pumpkin
The Screaming Pumpkin is a night running event produced by the Yellow Bear Foundation in Peoria, Illinois. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, and uses Springdale Cemetery as its primary course area with a starting point at Lower Glen Oak Park.
The course runs through the cemetery and includes winding trails and some inclines. The route passes through areas of lower light and atmospheric features described by the organizers, creating an evening running environment that emphasizes the cemetery setting.

- 26.2 Mile Prediction run (Full Marathon)
- 13.1 Mile Prediction run (Half Marathon)
- 26.2 Mile Relay for a team of four
- 6.55 Mile Classic Spooky 10k(ish) run
- 2 Mile Family-friendly spooky walk or run
Packet pick-up is offered on the day before and the day of the event at local pickup locations, including RC Outfitters in Peoria and Lower Glen Oak Park.
