Event Overview
The Scouts Honour Backyard Ultra is held at Hollinwood Scout Camp in Worsley, Manchester. It is a trail running event based on the "backyard ultra" format.
Event Format
Participants run a loop course every hour. They must complete the loop within the hour to be allowed to start the next loop. The event continues until only one runner remains. The race has a maximum capacity of 100 athletes.
Course Information
The course consists of two off-road loops. The terrain is flat and fully off-road, starting across fields before moving into shaded woodland trails. The surface is described as fast and runnable.
Included Amenities and Prizes
The entry fee includes an entry ticket, a participant "DNF" mug, a pitch to set up a personal rest area, parking for one car, drinks and snacks, and access to hot and cold water.
