Scouts Honour Backyard Ultra 2027
The Scouts Honour Backyard Ultra takes place on 31 July 2027 at Hollinwood Scout Camp in Worsley, Manchester. The course is a flat, fully off-road trail that begins across open field ground and flows into shaded woodland trails, offering fast, runnable terrain.
The event uses a backyard ultra format on a course made up of two off-road loops. Runners start a new loop every hour; completing a loop within the hour allows a runner to start the next loop. The race continues until one last person remains. The field is capped at 120 athletes, which limits entry numbers and shapes the event atmosphere.
Prize money is allocated to the overall winner, and a unique 1/1 t-shirt is offered to any competitor who exceeds 100 miles. Entrant provisions include an entry ticket, a bespoke DNF metal mug, a pitch to set up a rest area, drinks and snacks, and hot and cold water. The overall winner also receives a trophy and a mug in addition to prize money.
Parking at Hollinwood Scout Camp is limited and is not guaranteed as part of race entry; any additional parking arrangements and permit details will be communicated to participants in advance. Dogs are not allowed on the event site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
