Scouts Honour Backyard Ultra
The Scouts Honour Backyard Ultra is a trail backyard ultra held at Hollinwood Scout Camp, Sheep Pen Lane, Worsley, Manchester, M28 1YB. Runners complete two off-road loops through fields and shaded woodland, starting a new loop every hour on the hour. To continue, a runner must finish each loop within the hour; the event continues until a single remaining competitor finishes a loop.
The course is described as flat and fully off road, beginning across open field ground before flowing into wooded trails that offer fast, runnable terrain. The field is capped at 100 athletes and entry is restricted to those aged 18 or over on 01/08/2026. The listed entry price is £100.
Prizes include prize money for the overall winner and an additional award for any competitor who exceeds 100 miles. Participants receive an entry ticket, a bespoke participant DNF metal mug, a pitch to set up a rest area, parking for one car, drinks and a snack, hot and cold water. The winner receives a trophy, a mug and prize money.
