3rd Annual Scott Trot 5K : Lewes, DE
The event is a 5K run/walk held on April 18, 2026 at American Legion Post 17 in Lewes, Delaware. The event benefits the Blood Bank of Delmarva and offers day of race registration. Registration is open from October 31 through April 18; the published registration fee is $33.70.

- Competitive walking 5K (must walk the entire race)
Timing is electronic using the MYLAPS BibTag chip system managed by R2R Timing. Results are posted online during the race and complete results are posted afterward. Race photos are published on the event organizer’s Facebook page after the event.
Participants receive unisex tee shirts. Post race refreshments and music are provided. Awards include top overall male and female and overall masters scored by gun time, with other age groups scored by chip net time. Age-group awards are given in ten-year increments from 13 & under through 70 & over; awards are also given to the top three male and female walkers.
Event policies note that no dogs are allowed due to insurance liability, bibs are non-transferable, and no refunds are issued. A course map is available from the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
