Event overview

The SCOTT Sports Summer Cheviot Goat is scheduled for Saturday 20 June 2026 at Ingram Village Hall, Ingram, Northumberland (NE66 4LU). The organiser describes it as a hard, summer variant of the Winter Cheviot Goat. The course is an approximate 50-mile (ish) ultra-run over a loop of the largest hills in the border region, an area noted for a very low population density. Final route details may not be confirmed until a few days before the event. Each runner will be issued a GPS tracker and participants have up to 24 hours to reach the finish. Prizes are awarded to top finishers, including the Edwin Nelson Cup for the outright winner, and all participants receive a t-shirt and a medal.
