Gecko Gathering - Scorrier House
Gecko Gathering at Scorrier House is a family friendly event on Sunday 23rd August 2026 held in a field on the Scorrier House estate. The event runs multiple distances on trails through the estate, across fields and along tracks.
Available race distances include:
- 2.5k
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
The event also includes SCORRIERGEDDON, a 5 hour endurance event that requires competitors to complete tasks after each lap. The race village features live music, a bar open before and after races, and hot and cold food and drinks for participants and supporters.
All participants receive a medal. Personalised bibs are provided for entrants who register at least a week before race day. Awards are given to top finishers in each distance. Water points and medical cover are available on site.
The organiser describes the event as no pressure with no cut offs and suitable for ages 5 and up. In the previous three years the event has taken place in front of Scorrier House with entertainment and a summer atmosphere for participants and spectators.
