Event Overview
The Gecko Gathering running event takes place on Sunday 23 August 2026 at Scorrier House, a private estate in Cornwall near Redruth. The event features several timed distance options.

Event Features
The event includes a festival-like atmosphere with various amenities on site. A bar will be open and a DJ will provide entertainment. Food vendors will be present, offering items like pizza, cakes, and ice cream. Other activities include face painting and inflatable axe throwing.
All participants receive a personalised bib and a finisher's medal. Awards are given to top finishers, and free race photography is provided. There is no cut-off time for the standard distance races. The 5 km and 10 km races are part of Stage 6 of the Purple Gecko Events 2026 Championship Series, where the top 20 male and female runners in each distance earn series points.
The Scorriergeddon endurance event involves participants completing as many loops as possible within the 5-hour time limit to score points, with inflatable axe throwing available at the end of each lap.
