Event overview
The Gecko Gathering at Scorrier House takes place in Redruth, Cornwall on 23 August 2026. The event is organised by Purple Gecko Events and is held on the private estate around fields and trails. It includes a variety of races plus a 5-hour endurance event called Scorriergeddon.
The event is timed by ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. There is no cut off time for the standard distances. Participants receive a medal, and personalised bibs are available if entered at least one week before race day. Awards are given to top finishers and free race photography is provided. Water points and medical cover are available. The race village includes a bar, music from a DJ, food vendors, face painting and inflatable axe throwing. The event is Stage 6 of the PGE 2026 5k and 10k Championship Series; the top 20 male and female runners in those distances score championship points.
