The Schweizer Fest 2 & 6 Mile Road Run takes place on August 8, 2026 in Tell City, IN (710 Fulton St). This is the 49th running of the event, hosted by Everbody's Fun & Fitness Center. Two race distances are offered.

Course, awards and other details
Both race courses go through Tell City's historic downtown area. The 2 mile course is described as fast and flat. The 6 mile course goes through downtown, then onto Mozart Street where it ascends a one-mile, 200-foot vertical hill with minor grade breaks, descends on Tell Street, and finishes on Main Street. Both races start on 7th Street near Everbody's Fun & Fitness Center.
Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group and gender, with a special award for the top male and top female in each race. Age groups are broken into five-year increments.
A kids fun run of two blocks (0.25 miles) is offered for children 7 years old and under. That run starts at Frostop on Main Street and finishes under the balloon near City Hall. Kids fun run participants receive a racing bib and ribbon; the kids event is free and does not require prior registration. Race entry is listed at $30, with a price increase after July 29, 2026.
