About the race
The 14th Annual Everbody's Turkey Trot Fun Run takes place in Tell City, IN on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026. The event is organized by Everbody's Fun & Fitness Center and uses the center at 710 Fulton Street as the start and finish location.
The event offers two distances:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 mile
The 5k route follows the Ohio River, includes a short uphill section, and then flattens toward the finish. The 1 mile course is a six-block, rather flat route through downtown Tell City.
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each 10-year age group. All registered participants who complete the run receive either a sweatshirt or a long-sleeve shirt. Registrations submitted by noon on November 12 will have a shirt available for race day. Unclaimed shirts are held for pickup through December 31, 2026, after which they will be offered for public sale.
Race packets and shirts are available for pickup at Everbody's Fitness on Wednesday, November 25 between 8:30am - 6:30pm, and on Thanksgiving Day between 7am - 8am. Registration is available online or in person at Everbody's Fun & Fitness Center. A family discount applies for households of three to six people, with a $5 reduction per registrant. Proceeds from the event will go to help a local family in need. Volunteers are requested to assist with water stations, cheering, and corner guidance.
