Event overview
The 5th Annual School Spirit Run & Kids Run IGNITED By Addition Financial takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at SeaWorld Orlando, 7007 Sea Harbor Drive, Orlando, FL 32821. The event includes a main School Spirit Run for ages 13 and older, a School Spirit Run category for ages 12 and under, and a separate free Kids Fun Run for children ages 7 and under that follows the main run. Proceeds benefit the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools.
Course and distances
- ~3 miles main course through SeaWorld Orlando pathways and the Sesame Street neighborhood
- 50–200 yards kids dash distances, varying by age
Amenities, awards and rules
All paid participants in the Fun Run receive a themed finisher medal and a 100% ringspun soft cotton unisex race t-shirt (size guaranteed only if registered by January 15, 2026). The event includes SeaWorld theme park entertainment along the course and free race-day parking. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in the School Spirit Run, plus age-leveled and spirit-related prizes (most school spirit, best mascot, best rivalry challenge, school with largest registrants). The event is capped at 4,000 participants. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; the race will be held rain or shine unless severe weather forces delay or cancellation. Bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, baby carriers and dogs are prohibited on the course. Strollers and jogging strollers are permitted but must start behind runners and walkers.
Registration and packet pickup
Early packet pickup and team box delivery are available at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools office, 445 W Amelia Street, 9th floor, Orlando, FL 32801. Schools with more than 75 registered participants qualify for team box delivery if registered by the stated deadline.
