Scarecrow Shuffle 8k, 5k, 2 Mile Fun Run & 1/4 Mile Kids' Run
The Scarecrow Shuffle is a fall community running event held at Peddler's Village in New Hope, Pennsylvania on October 18, 2026. The event offers a range of distances for adults and children and takes place alongside Peddler's Village seasonal activities.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 8K
- 5K
- 2 Mile Fun Run
- 1/4 Mile Kids' Run
Packet pick-up is available at the race site the day before the event and on race morning; Saturday pick-up is not mandatory but is encouraged. Pre-race announcements and other race-day procedures are conducted at the event site.
All donations generated from the event are directed to the Bucks County Opportunity Council. The event includes a costume contest: anyone who comes dressed as a scarecrow or a pumpkin is automatically entered. Dressing up is optional.
The race is scheduled to coincide with Peddler's Village seasonal displays, including larger-than-life scarecrows from the Scarecrows in the Village competition, which participants can view during or after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
