Hulmeville Hustle 5K
The Hulmeville Hustle takes place on October 3, 2026, at OCI Bar and Grill in Hulmeville, PA (11 Beaver Street). The event is organized by the Hulmeville Borough Parks and Recreation Committee in partnership with the Hulmeville 150th Committee as a community celebration tied to America’s 250th Anniversary.
Distance options:
- 5K chip-timed course through the heart of Hulmeville
- 1 Mile Stroll, a community-focused walk
Along the route, participants can look for historic markers that match a History Board at the finish area. A patriotic dress-up competition will award a prize for the best costume. Event photography will be available and local partners will provide additional surprise items.
Every participant receives a commemorative 2026 medal and a race-themed t-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to overall champions for male and female, and in age divisions Youth (up to 12), Teen (13–19), Adult (20–59), and Master (60+). Specialty awards include Fastest Dog and Fastest Stroller.
Registration pricing is tiered: Early Bird through Sept 3 is $25 with guaranteed shirt size, Pre-Race Sept 4 through Oct 1 is $30, and Race Day registration is $35 with limited shirt availability. A No Shirt option reduces the fee by $5. Dogs are welcome when kept on non-retractable leashes and participants are expected to leave no trace. The event is nonprofit and registration fees cover event costs with any surplus reinvested into the Parks and Recreation Committee for future events and park improvements.
