Scarborough 5K

The event takes place on Saturday, June 5, 2027, at Morningside Park in Scarborough, Ontario. It marks the sixth year of the event and frames the day around community, culture and movement.

The Scarborough 5K is presented by Black Runners of the GTA and the Canada Running Series Foundation. The program includes a main 5 km race and a 1 km Kids Run, and emphasizes accessibility, representation and inclusivity with an open community focus.

Participation supports the Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough (BGC East Scarborough). Registration includes a mandatory minimum charitable donation of CAD 15, and proceeds from that donation go directly to the charity partner. Registered participants receive finisher souvenirs and a community race-day experience on site.

All entries are non-refundable, non-deferrable and non-transferable in accordance with Canada Running Series policy. Race kits for both distances are available for pick-up onsite on race day. The event contact is the Scarborough 5K Planning Committee for general inquiries.
