BlackToe Holiday 10k : December 6, 2026, Kew Beach, Toronto
The BlackToe Holiday 10k is the fourth annual edition of a community road race held at Kew Beach in Toronto. The event is Athletics Ontario sanctioned and Athletics Canada certified. The start and finish are located at Kew Beach and the course is described as flat, fast, and course-certified.
Distances:
- 10 km certified road race, flat and fast.
- Kids 1 km fun run, parents may run with children.
Course and race-day operations include water stations at 3.5 km and 6.5 km, a 5 km turnaround, and an expanded on-course monitoring team with extra salt and shovels for winter conditions. The field will include elite athletes, paced groups, and prize money for top finishers. Organizers offer PB awards for personal-best 10 km times; participants may enter their current 10 km PB at registration to qualify. Additional features include age-group prizes, participant swag such as beanies and medals, a special recognition for the final finisher, and equity best practices for women's, men's, non-binary, and gender-non-identifying participants.
Post-race provisions include a heated warming area, snacks, sponsor tables, a social gathering, and awards. Professional photographers and videographers will be on course and free photos are available for participants.
