Rab Scafell Sky Race 2026
Held in the central Lake District and based at Lanty Slees Stickle Barn on 6 June 2026, the event covers 38 km with 2800 m of ascent. The course follows technical, single-track trails and mountain terrain and includes a summit of England's highest mountain. The organiser states the route is technically demanding and requires mountain running competence; the minimum entry age is 19. The maximum time allowed is 12 hours. Entries recorded on the organiser page show 50 participants so far. Included with entry are a fully marked course, two fully supplied feed stations and manned checkpoints, electronic timing and tracking, a safety officer and team, and a finishers’ seed bomb medal. Rab Scafell Sky Ultra 2026
Also based at Lanty Slees Stickle Barn in the Lake District on 6 June 2026, the ultra covers approximately 60 km with 4400 m of ascent and is described as a technical mountain ultra on single-track trails. The organiser notes the route runs through central and southern Lakeland fells and includes the highest summit in England. The minimum entry age is 19 and the maximum time allowed is 15 hours. Entries recorded show 25 participants so far. Included with entry are a fully marked course, four fully supplied feed stations and manned checkpoints, electronic timing and tracking, a safety officer and team, and a finishers’ seed bomb medal.
