Rab Scafell Sky Race is a mountain running event based at Lanty Slees Stickle Barn in the Central Lake District on Saturday 6 June 2026. The course covers 38 km with 2800 m of ascent and includes technical single-track trails and sections of scree. The route visits Lakeland fells and valleys and reaches the highest mountain in England.

Competitors must be at least 19 years old on race day. Entries are not vetted, and by entering participants attest their competence to complete the course; the organiser may expel any competitor who deliberately misstates their experience. The maximum allowed time for the event is 12 hours.

The entry package includes a fully marked course, two fully supplied feed stations with manned checkpoints, electronic timing and tracking from Open Tracking, a professional safety officer with a supporting safety team, and a finishers’ Seed Bomb Medal.
