The Savannah SSOD Race is a timed charity running event in Savannah, GA taking place on October 11, 2026. The course uses a roughly one third mile loop that includes paved road, cobblestone, and uneven stairs. Participants start midway on the stairs and follow a loop that proceeds onto Williamson Street, MLK Boulevard, River Street, and then up the stone stairs again. The course design requires ascending the stairs only; the route does not include descending them. Chip timing is used with ankle chips.
Awards are given for male and female overall in both race durations. The event description notes the race supports people with medical or personal needs due to illness and that 100% of registration revenue and donations, after event costs, go to the named beneficiary family.
