Savannah SSOD (Stone Stairs of Death) Race
The Savannah SSOD Race is a timed charity running event in Savannah, GA held on October 11, 2026. The event is hosted by Rough Runners R4R INC and donates 100 percent of registration fees, race costs, and event donations to a family facing medical expenses.
The course is a 1/3 mile loop that uses paved road, cobblestone, and uneven stairs. Participants start midway on the stairs going up, then turn right onto Williamson Street, right on MLK Boulevard, right on River Street, and then ascend the SSOD before repeating the loop. Participants only go up the stairs during the race. The event is chip timed.
Two duration options are offered for the event. Male and female overall awards are given for both durations.
