5K for Peace
5K for Peace is a community running and walking event in Savannah, Georgia on October 10, 2026. The event is based at the Bandshell in Savannah, GA 31404.
Distances offered:
- Full 5K Run Walk : registration fee $35
- 1 Mile Family Loop : registration fee $20
Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes August 1, 2026. Registration includes an official race bib, a commemorative gift, a pledge card, a digital finish photo, and entry to the post-race celebration. Short and long-sleeve T-shirts are available for purchase.
Proceeds benefit Rooted Ummah, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports unhoused neighbors, refugees, immigrants, and displaced communities locally and beyond. Rooted Ummah provides meals, supplies, day center services in Savannah, and resources for families rebuilding their lives after displacement.
