The Sault International Festival of Races is a two day event on September 26–27, 2026 in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, with a range of in-person and virtual race options. The event base is at 650 W. Easterday on the Lake Superior State University campus and downtown Sault Sainte Marie.
Events include:
- 5 Mile Bridge Run that crosses the International Bridge
- Half Marathon that does not cross the International Bridge
- 5K Run that does not cross the International Bridge

- Virtual 5 Mile, Virtual Half Marathon, Virtual 5K Run, Virtual 5K Walk
The 5 Mile Bridge Run requires participants to maintain about a 15 minute per mile pace or faster; a walk division is not offered for that race and participants who cannot maintain pace may be removed and transported by the bridge authority. Participants who wish to run both days must register separately for each race.
Packet pickup is available at the LSSU Arts Center and at a downtown pickup location near the Day 2 start/finish. Day 1 parking includes free lots on the LSSU campus; Day 2 parking includes downtown lots and an overflow lot about half a mile from the start.
Aid stations will provide water and Gatorade; the half marathon has three double aid stations and the 5 Mile and 5K races have a midway aid station. All finishers receive a day specific medal and awards are distributed for overall and age group categories. An ID is recommended and participants traveling from Canada should carry a passport for border crossing. The event policy states there are no refunds and race insurance is offered.
