Flannel 5K / 10K : February 2026, Menomonee Falls, WI
The Flannel 5K / 10K is a winter running event held in February 2026 in Menomonee Park, Menomonee Falls, WI. The event program includes the following distances and activities:
- 5K
- 10K
- Walk - 2 mile
- 1K Kiddo's Race (open to ages 10 and under)
- 5K Ruck
The course runs on park roads. The 5K is one lap around the park and the 10K is two laps; the 10K is about 0.1 miles short. The course is described as relatively flat with a few small hills. There will be one aid station on course and one at the finish; 5K participants pass the on-course aid station once and 10K participants pass it twice. The event is chip timed with a chip start.
Services, awards and policies
Packet pickup requires an email receipt with a scannable QR code accessible on a mobile device. Registrants by noon January 23 are guaranteed a custom cotton unisex T-shirt; long sleeve upgrades are available for an additional fee. A hot chocolate bar will be available after the race.
All finishers receive a finisher woodle from Ridgeway Woodworks. Top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups receive a custom woodle; an awards ceremony will take place at the race and awards can be picked up the Wednesday after the event in Oconomowoc, WI. The 5K Ruck division is timed but not competitive and has no age-group awards; ruckers receive a finisher woodle.
Parking is not available at the start/finish; attendees must use park lots and purchase park admission online before entry. Refunds are not permitted; the race may be delayed or canceled for severe weather and canceled events are not refunded. The event supports the Silver Circle Foundation, Inc.
