Grafton Lucky 5K Run/Walk
The Grafton Lucky 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held in Grafton, Wisconsin, featuring a theme inspired by St. Patrick’s Day. The course begins and ends in the downtown area of Grafton, located approximately 30 minutes north of Milwaukee. The event is open to participants of various ages and is described as being stroller friendly.
Participants in the 5 km distance receive a long-sleeve tech-top and a finisher medal. The race includes several competition categories, with awards provided to the top three overall finishers. Age group awards are also distributed for categories ranging from age 10 and younger up to 80 and older. Additionally, prizes are designated for participants recognized as the best dressed or most festive.
The event features several amenities and post-race activities. Following the run, there are festivities that include food, music, and green beer. Early packet pick-up is available the day before the event at a local fitness center, and race-day pick-up is located at a local establishment on 12th Avenue.
