The Sauk Valley Apple Cider Run takes place on October 10, 2026 at Selmi's Greenhouse & Family Farm in Rock Falls, Illinois. The event program includes a half marathon, a 5K, and a virtual half marathon.

The half marathon course starts and ends at Selmi's and offers views of local countryside, rolling hills, and farmland. The course length is 13.17 miles with an elevation gain of 353 feet and includes named segments such as Dillon Home to Sinnissippi, which passes through a wooded area and crosses the Rock River, and a Walking Bridge Heading South segment with river views. Most of the route is on pavement, though there is about a half mile on grass that may be soft or muddy after rain. Water stations and porta potties are provided along the course.
Finish-line amenities include apple cider, apple donuts, water, fruit, and granola bars, plus other drinks and food available for purchase. All half marathon finishers receive finisher medals; age group medals are awarded for all distances and top overall male and female finishers for each distance receive trophies. Packet pick-up is available the Friday before at 7:24 Fitness on the Rock or on race morning at Selmi's. Parking is available in Selmi's lot and nearby locations.
