Run for Brain Health
The Run for Brain Health is a running and walking event held on Saturday, May 16, 2026. It is the 6th annual edition of the event. The event is open to both runners and walkers and aims to raise awareness for mental health month.
The event offers three activities:
- A 5K Road Run
- A 5K Trail Run
- A Support the Cause activity
Bib and swag pick-up is scheduled for Saturday from 7:00-8:00 AM. Awards are given for both the 5K Road and 5K Trail runs. Overall awards are based on gun time, and age group awards are based on net time. Age groups are 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over. The event notes that "age group double dipping" is not allowed.
The event takes place at the Coleta Sportsman's Club, located at 21038 Pilgrim Rd in Chadwick, Illinois. The standard registration price for each activity is $25, with a price increase scheduled after March 31, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
