Year End Time Turner 2026 : Staines upon Thames
This is a seven hour Time Challenge event at The Last Hop, Thames Edge in Staines along a stretch of the River Thames. Participants may choose how many laps to run within the time limit; the minimum recorded distance to be an official finisher is 3 km. The course is fully signed, mainly on well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section. Road shoes are suitable year round.
Entry fees range from £18 to £35. Members pay £10 less than full price, are guaranteed entry, and receive a mini-me medal pin at each event attended. Finishers who complete at least 3 km may choose a medal from a selection of past event medals. Distance pins are provided for half-marathon distance and above; available pins include Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50 km and Ultra.
A drinks and aid table is available at the start/finish area of each lap with drinks and a range of savoury and sweet snacks, including vegan options. Finishers receive a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is offered. Toilets are available at The Last Hop; there are no separate changing rooms or showers. Number pick up takes place on the day at race registration.
Parking is available in Bridge Street Car Park, Staines. A non secure bag drop area is provided. Headphones are allowed. The event takes place on public footpaths so runners should be considerate of other path users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
