London Running Festival 6th December 2026
The London Running Festival takes place on 6th December 2026 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. The event will use road closed routes that pass landmarks such as the VeloPark, Copper Box Arena, Aquatics Centre, London Stadium, London Community Track, South Park and North Park.
Distances offered include:
- 5K free entry via ballot with around 500 places
- 10K paid entry
- Half Marathon paid entry
For the first time the event village will be based at Hopkins Meadow in North Park, creating a central hub for runners and supporters. Entry to the free RunThrough Foundation 5K is by ballot due to expected demand. There will be three ballot waves with application and announcement dates as follows: Wave 1 closes 30th August 2026 and is announced 3rd September 2026; Wave 2 closes 25th October 2026 and is announced 5th November 2026; Wave 3 closes 22nd November 2026 and is announced 26th November 2026.
A proportion of places in the Foundation ballot will be prioritised for first time runners and people from lower income areas. Only one application per email address will be accepted. After each ballot applicants will be contacted with the outcome and successful places must be accepted or they will be passed to another applicant.
